am vorletzten Wochenende fand die zweite Makeup Show Europe in Berlin statt!
Ich war schon Zeiten vorher aufgeregt, hatte ich mir diesmal doch vorgenommen einige Dinge zum Arbeiten und für meine Abschlussprüfung zu kaufen!
Auch war ich gespannt, wen ich dort treffen würde und die Demos und Vorträge spornten mich an mich samstags und sonntags aus dem Bett zu quälen.
The last weekend the second Makeup Show Europe took place in Berlin!
I was really exited, I wanted to buy stuff for work and my final exams next year!
As well I was exited who I would meet and I wanted to join some demos, so I got my ass up!
Der erste Weg zog mich "Nachhause" :)
Zu dem Stand meiner Schule, Hasso von Hugo Maskenbildnerschule, dort gab es ein paar Bonbons und einen ersten Blick über die Messestände!
Da es noch sehr früh war, war es noch ordentlich leer und ruhig.
First I went "home", to see what was going on on the booth of my school!
It was pretty early and not as crowded as later that day!
Ich traf dort einige wunderbare Mädels, die meisten das erste Mal live!

Bdellium Tools
Wundervoll durchdachter Stand, mit zwei tollen, wirklich super freundlichen Betreibern.
Der Stand zeigte gut, wie viele verschiedene Bereiche Bdellium umfasst, für jeden ist hier etwas dabei! Vegane Pinsel, die etwas teurere Range und die günstigere, dabei aber bei gleichbleibender Qualität!
Ich persönlich habe lieber bei Bdellium gekauft, dafür aber Qualität und dafür nicht bei Crown Brush, da sich beide bei den Preisen auf der Messe nicht viel genommen haben und meine Crown Brushes vom letzten Jahr mir zu 75% bis jetzt auseinander gefallen/gebröselt sind!
Ich habe vorher schon Bdellium Pinsel gehabt, wovon ich allerdings noch nicht berichtete, das werde ich nachreichen. Eine wirklich tolle Marke, aber vor lauter Euphorie wiederhole ich mich :)
A really great booth, really felt comfortable there and the guys were so nice.
This booth shows how much ranges Bdellium holds, vegan brushes, a range a little more expensive and the range with smaller prices, but the same quality bristles!
I really enjoyed buying brushes there, after buying brushes at crown brush last year, which 75% of them fell apart til now!
The prices on this fair were really similar to each other and I think Bdellium is worth the money so much more!
I had BDellium brushes before, which I´m gonna tell you about, now that I know that these are such gorgeous brushes, can´t even rave enough about them!

Positiv war dieses Jahr für mich persönlich
- dass ich mehr Kontakte knüpfen konnte, wenn es zum Teil auch nur ein kleiner Plausch war, aber "Social networking" erscheint mir in der heutigen Zeit sehr wichtig, was auch James Vincent immer betont
- dass ich mich gut vorbereiten konnte für die Prüfung, da ich dort einige professionelle Produkte kaufen konnte, an die man sonst nur sehr schwer heran kommt
- an den Ständen konnte man sich auch diesmal sehr gut über die Produkte austauschen und auch ein wenig darüber hinaus
- die Show erschien mir im Kompletten ein wenig durchdachter und mehr auf die "Professionellen" ausgerichtet. Wahrscheinlich auch der Grund, warum sich einige Blogger dort nicht so wohl fühlten, beziehungsweise nicht ganz so viel aus der Show ziehen konnten.
- die Stimmung schien mir ziemlich gut, vielleicht war ich aber wiederrum nicht sensibel genug dafür und habe es nicht mitbekommen, dass etwas auf die Stimmung schlug, aber ich und meine Mitschülöer hatten Spaß, ich finde das zählt :)
-Es wurde auffällig mehr Deutsch an den Ständen gesprochen, so dass auch Menschen, die sonst recht scheu mit einer anderen Sprache umgehen (was mir letztes Jahr einige male auffiel), sich gut unterhalten konnten und austauschten.
- die Demos und Vorträge waren wirklich toll und informativ. Billy B und Spob O´Brian oder auch Hasso von Hugo unf Betty Amrhein. Auch deutsche Maskenbildner und Makeup Artists waren dabei, es machte Spaß zuzuschauen und zuzuhören, die Demos waren informativ gewählt und um einiges weniger "Verkaufsshow" als letztes Jahr!
- dass ich einige nette Mädels kennengelernt habe.
Positives
- I really could get in contact with a lot of people of the business, really got into "social networking", like james Vincent always tells us it´s important
- I could get some stuff for my exams, very professional products were available, so cool
- the show seemed so much more thought through and more for the professionals of the business. Probably the reason some bloggers weren´t that happy.
- the mood seemed so relaxed and nice, people were calm and friendly, maybe I didn´t feel bad vibes, because I was in such a good mood, I had so much fun there :)
- there were so much more booths with sellers talking german. I really enjoy times when I can spek english, but last year I felt a lot of people were a little intiminated by the neccessity to speak english, so the guys of the Makeup Show did a great job!
- the demos and presentations were so great and informative. There were a lot of great people talking, also german makeup artists, like Hasso von Hugo and Betty Amrhein.
It was so much fun listening and looking at people doing what they love, I felt it was less a show for slling purposes than last year!
-I met such great nice blogger girls!
Negatives gab es auch, nämlich
- dass Illamasqua nicht verkaufte! Ja, da spricht der Makeup Junkie aus mir, aber ich war wirklich ein wenig traurig!
- manche Stände sahen ein wenig traurig und nackt aus, gegen z.B. die CB creative Beauty Company oder Ähnliche. Aber auch die Location selbst ist sehr kühl (auch ziemlich kalt) und eben ein Loft, keine wirklich gemütliche Atmosphäre, aber naja...
Negatives
- Illamasqua did not sell stuff! It´s not really a professional problem, I only wanted to buy stuff for me, but I seriously was disappointed!
- some booths looked a little naked and sad. There were such colorful stands, but the location itself is so cool (really really cool, freezing somehow), it´s a loft kind of venue, not really comfy, but anyway...
Fazit
Für mich hat sich die Show gelohnt!
Ob ich jetzt speziell dafür anreisen würde, kann ich nicht sagen, das ist zum Beispiel ein Argument bei Magi, aber ich wohne ja nun in Berlin, so dass dies kein Problem ist!
Ich habe Menschen getroffen, Kontakte gemacht, Bloggerkolleginnen kennengelernt, tolle Dinge gekauft und die Stimmung genossen!
Ich kann verstehen, dass dies nicht unbedingt positiven Argumente sind für Bloggerin oder Mädels, die nicht als Makeup Artist arbeiten, dort war viel auf professionellen Gebrauch ausgerichtet, allein schon die Größen mancher Verpackungen o_O.
Aus den Demos und Vorträgen konnte man auch als nicht Makeup Artist definitiv etwas ziehen, ein AMu mit Airbrush? Respekt! Oder einfach ein paar netten Anekdoten lauschen. Von Illamasqua bis Billy B, von Betty Amrhein bis Hasso von Hugo!
Und die Produkte, die man kaufen konnte waren gut ausgewählt, mit den Rabatten hat sich das Shopping total ausgezahlt und ich sage es immer wieder, ich habe mit so vielen Menschen gesprochen, ich bin selbst überrascht, wie offen und kontaktfreudig ich war :)

If it´s worth travelling to Berlin, I don´t know, I live here, so I don´t have to think about it!
I met so much people, made some contacts, met Blogger girls, bought great, very useful stuff and enjoyed the time!
I really get the thing around it for bloggers or girls that don´t work in this industry, the most things are for the professionel use and the social aspect is not something that they are that much into.
From the demos and presentations everybody intrested in the beauty industry could get some inspiration, an eye makeup with airbrush, I was so amazed!
I really loved to listen to some storys and tips! From Illamasqua and Billy B, to Betty Amrhein and the cool Hasso von Hugo!
The products you could get were so well picked, the shopping for getting your kit complete or get stuff for a special purpose, it was so worth it!
I can´t tell you enough how great it was for me to meet so much people and make so much contacts, I was really surprised of myself, I was so sociable :)

Ich war komplett versessen auf ein Airbrush System... Nun ja, ich habe mir keines gekauft, dafür war Temptu aber anderweitig sehr interessant!
I really really wanted an airbrush system... Well, didn´t get one of course, so expensive everywhere, biut I got some great stuff there anyway!

Kevyn Aucoin und Emryolisse haben mich dieses Jahr auch besonders überzeugt!
Kevyn Aucoin Produkte das erste Mal live zu sehen, wenn auch nicht das ganze Sortiment, waren es es gut ausgewählte Produkte! Meine Ausbeute werde ich euch noch zeigen, aber ich konnte nicht widerstehen!
Embryolisse hat auch mich Hautpflege-Muffel erwischt! eine Probe der Lait Creme Concentre hat mich überzeugt und meine trockenen Stellen weggezaubert!
Da sie so leicht zu verteilen ist, ist sie sicherlich auch toll für die besonders trockene Haut meines Freundes und für meine Modelle in der Zeit der Vorbereitungen der Abschlussprüfung!

It was the first time I really could touch Kevyn Aucoin products, they are so hard to get. Very well picked products, not the whole range, but really well picked, I couldn´t resist, such great things!
Embryolisse really made me a skincare fan, I´m lazy if it comes to skincare and the Lait Creme Concentre makes my dry patches disappear and makes my skin look really good!
I really thought about my exams, where I can use this on my models and the pretty dry skin of my hubby!
